Since our 4 month old learned how to to roll, it’s been difficult letting her play independently without worrying that she is going to hit her head on the hardwood or bump into the furniture.
We purchased a 71″x 59″ Extra Large Baby Playard and a 71″ x 59″ Soft Non-Slip Playard Mat to help create a safe space for our little one to play.
Needless to say, our daughter loves her new playpen. She is able to roll, explore, and play with her toys worry-free. We love how much space the playard gives our baby, while providing a soft place to fall and safe area to play. The non-slip mat is much thicker and softer than I anticipated. The playpen is very sturdy and even comes with 4 grab handles that the baby can pull up on when she’s getting ready to stand.
One very small complaint is that the instructions to assemble weren’t very clear, it took us a bit to figure out, but once you get once section the rest goes together fairly easily. The floor mat came in a vacuum sealed bag, once removed it takes about 48 hours to become fully expanded. The playpen definitely takes time to assemble and disassemble and it isn’t easily portable. If you don’t have a lot of space, there are smaller 50″x 50″ versions of both the playard and the mat.
